Dad charged with murder of six-week-old baby son

A man has been charged with murdering his six-week-old baby son.
Huxley Sayle died from a traumatic head injury on 14 July 2022, Lancashire Police said.
A month earlier, on 14 June, officers had been called to Squires Wood, Fulwood, at about 01:30 BST, to a report that a baby had been taken to hospital.
Peter Sayle, 31, of Squires Wood, Fulwood, has been charged with Huxley's murder and is due to appear before magistrates in Preston later.
He had originally been arrested on suspicion of wounding on 18 June 2022, police said, but was later rearrested on suspicion of murder.
