Police want to identify two men as they investigate a stabbing in Truro

Police investigating a stabbing in Cornwall want to trace two men who they think might help with their inquiries.

Devon and Cornwall Police said a 31-year-old woman and a 42-year-old man suffered stab wounds during a serious assault on St Austell Street, Truro, at about 17:00 BST on Saturday.

Officers have released an image of two men who they believe might be able to help with the ongoing investigation, with anyone who recognises the duo asked to contact police.

A 42-year-old man from Truro has been bailed until 15 November after being arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm without intent, the force added.
