Long A38 delays after four-vehicle crash

A four-vehicle crash on the A38 in Plymouth caused significant delays.
National Highways said the crash happened at about 16:40 BST on the Cornwall-bound side of the motorway between the B3416 near Plympton and the A374 in Efford.
It said traffic was held for nearly an hour before two of three lanes reopened at about 17:35.
Delays of up to 45 minutes and four miles (6.44km) of congestion were reported. National Highways said all lanes reopened at 18:35.
Devon and Cornwall Police said four vehicles were involved in the crash and there were no serious injuries.
