Adults in Hull are being encouraged to dress up in capes and bring their broomsticks to a wizarding night at Hull Central Library.
Activities will include talks about witch trials in Hull, meeting birds of prey, and brewing cocktails.
The Grownups Wizarding Night takes place at the library in Albion Street on Saturday 22 February from 17:00 to 20:15 GMT.
Councillor Rob Pritchard said it would be a "spellbinding evening for the local community".

He said: "Hull Libraries' Wizarding Nights for families have been a staple in Hull's events calendar for many years now, so it's wonderful that Hull Libraries are celebrating their 10th year of magical mayhem by introducing an additional, brand new Wizarding Night just for grownups."
Other activites will include air dry pottery, flower arranging, wand making, chess and looking at illustrations with Eleanor Tomlinson, who is known for her Jubilee Ma'amalade Tea drawing.
Admission is for over 18s only and tickets cost £10 each.
