Man, 19, dies in crash between car and motorcycle

A 19-year-old man has died in a crash in Cornwall, police have said.

The crash between a car and the motorcycle happened on the B3374 near Rosevear, Bugle, at about 18:35 BST on Wednesday, Devon and Cornwall Police said.

Police said the motorbike rider, from Bugle, died at the scene.

The force said it had referred itself to the Independent Office for Police Conduct "due to prior contact with the motorcyclist".

Police said the man's next of kin had been informed and they would be supported by specialist officers.

Anyone with information or dashcam footage in relation to the crash was asked to contact police.
