Woman, 71, dies in single-vehicle crash

A 71-year-old woman has died following a single-vehicle crash in Seaford.

Emergency services said crews were called to Chyngton Road at midday on Friday.

Sussex Police said the woman was declared dead at the scene and her next of kin have been informed.

A spokesperson for the force said: "The road is expected to remain closed until early evening while inquiries continue."
