Man killed after car crashes into trees

A 48-year-old man has died after his car left the road and crashed into trees in South Yorkshire.
The man was driving a black Mercedes C200 on Thursday at about 19:20 GMT, with the vehicle crashing off the A57 in South Anston, Rotherham.
He was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, South Yorkshire Police said, with it happening at the junction of Worksop Road and Ryton Road.
His family have been informed and are being supported by officers, the force said, with any witnesses or those with footage of the crash asked to come forward.
