Police confirmed a man in his 20s died following the single-vehicle collision on Monday

A man has died following a motorbike crash, police have said.

Officers were called to reports that a motorbike had crashed on Norrington Road, in Northfield, Birmingham, at about 16:00 BST on Monday.

The motorcyclist, a man in his 20s, died in hospital on Tuesday night, West Midlands Police said.

Anyone who witnessed the crash or who has dashcam or doorbell footage related to the incident has been asked to contact the force.

Sgt Rich Evans said: "This is a tragic incident, where a young man has lost his life and our thoughts remain with his family and everyone who knew him.

"We have specially trained officers supporting his family and are continuing to investigate exactly what happened."
