Man arrested after reported rape in city centre

A man has been arrested on suspicion of rape after a report of a serious sexual assault in Leeds city centre.
West Yorkshire Police said the alleged incident took place in St Peters Square in the early hours of Friday.
A force spokesperson said the female victim was being supported by specially trained officers.
The 44-year-old suspect has also been arrested on suspicion of assault, they added.
