Man denies alleyway stab murder charge

A man has pleaded not guilty to murdering a man found fatally injured in an alleyway in Doncaster.

Sheldon Jameson, 42, was discovered with stab wounds between Apley Road and Whitburn Road on 19 September and died later in hospital.

Jason Hale, 36, of no fixed abode, appeared at Sheffield Crown Court earlier and denied a charge of murder.

A further hearing is due to take place on 7 March 2025, with a provisional date for his trial set for 4 August.
