Firefighters tackle derelict building blaze

Local residents have been advised to keep their doors and windows shut as firefighters tackle a blaze in a derelict building in Glasgow.
Four fire engines and two aerial appliances went to the scene in Wardie Road in the Easterhouse area of the city when the alarm was raised on Sunday afternoon.
Police said road closures were in place at Wardie Road at the junction of Baldinnie Road and Shandwick Street at Bogbain Road.
There are no reports of any injuries.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said on Sunday evening: "We were alerted at 15:12 to a fire affecting a derelict building on Wardie Road, Glasgow.
"There are currently no reported casualties. Crews are still in attendance.
"Due to levels of smoke in the area, we ask the public to avoid the area, and close windows and doors as a precaution."
