A woman in her 90s has had two wedding rings and money stolen from her home by two women pretending to be medical professionals.
Northamptonshire Police said the burglary happened between 15:50 and 16:40 BST on Wednesday, in Gloucester Avenue, Northampton.
It said two other homes were also targeted in the same street, on the same day.
In one incident the couple tricked their way into the home, and while one woman distracted the victim, the other took the items when pretending to use the toilet.
A police spokesperson said the women "gained access to two of the three addresses".
They said one of the suspects was white, about 5ft 8in (1.7m) tall, in her 30s, slim, with shoulder-length, dark hair.
She was wearing a leotard, brown rain jacket, dark-coloured trousers and spoke with an English accent.
The other woman was smaller, of south Asian descent, and was wearing a navy-coloured anorak and black trousers.
