Arrest after crash leaves biker critically injured

A man has been arrested following a crash in the Highlands that left a biker critically injured.
The collison happened at about 10:30 on Saturday on the A87 at the Bunloyne Junction.
A 53-year-old rider of an orange KTM motorbike was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary where his condition was described as critical.
The 29-year-old driver of a grey BMW was arrested in connection with road traffic offences and released pending further inquiries.
Sgt David Miller, of the Dingwall Road Policing Unit, said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and I would ask anyone who witnessed what happened or who saw either vehicle on the road prior to the crash to get in touch.
"We would be keen to speak to anyone who may have dashcam footage from the area around the time of the incident."
