Man charged with attempted rape after girl attacked

A man has been charged with the attempted rape of a 14-year-old girl after the teenager was assaulted.
Police officers were called to Sullivan Road in Southampton at about 08:10 BST on Friday.
The 34-year-old man from Southampton is due to appear at the city's magistrates' court on Monday.
He was also charged with attempted kidnap after another incident involving a woman in her 30s in Lydgate Road on 15 October.
