Police are investigating reports sheep were chased off a cliff in Cornwall.

The incident is reported to have taken place in the Polly Joke area of Newquay on Sunday.

It was reported one of the individuals responsible was aggressive to a member of the public who challenged them, Devon and Cornwall Police said.

The force said inquiries were ongoing into the incident.
