A lorry has crashed into parked vehicles, a railway bridge and a youth club building in the early hours.
West Mercia Police officers were at Lower Galdeford in Ludlow following the collision involving "several vehicles" and Ludlow Youth Centre, which happened at about 00:20 BST on Monday.
No-one was injured during the incident and no arrests had been made, the force said.
Shropshire Council said it had suspended family and community services held at the building "until further notice" but was trying to arrange for these to be moved to an alternative venue in the town.
The road was closed for most of the morning and the public were asked to avoid the area, but it has since reopened.
Officers were earlier on the scene to and said the road was closed "after a lorry collided with several vehicles, a railway bridge and a building at around 12.20am".

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said it received a call about the crash at 00:26 BST.
Four fire appliances, including a rescue tender, were sent to the scene from Craven Arms, Ludlow and Wellington.
Shropshire Council said it had suspended its family and community hub services at the youth centre as a result of the collision which caused damage to the building.
"We regret any inconvenience this may cause for people using the hub in Ludlow, and we've contacted anyone who was due to attend a pre-booked appointment to advise them of the closure," said a council spokesperson.
"We're working with services based in the hub to see if these can be moved to an alternative venue in the town, and expect to be able to update further on this later today."
