Two men have been charged after a cannabis factory was discovered in a coastal town.

Norfolk Police said officers discovered 332 plants during a raid on a property on Wellesley Road on Friday morning.

A 36-year-old man and a 49-year-old man were charged with production of a controlled class B drug, namely cannabis, and possession of a weapon for the discharge of a noxious liquid, namely pepper gel.

They appeared at Norwich Magistrates' Court on Saturday and were remanded into custody to appear in court at a later date, police added.
