A woman has admitted to stealing £10,500 from an Alcoholics Anonymous group in Londonderry.
Niamh Bonner, 54, of Central Drive in the city, was charged with one count of theft on dates between 1 August 2018 and 1 November 2018.
She was also charged with fraud by abuse of position on dates between 1 August 2018 and 1 December 2019.
Ms Bonner pleaded guilty to both charges at the Crown Court in Derry on Thursday.
'Breach of trust'
The court heard that the defendant had been the treasurer of the local branch of Alcoholics Anonymous.
Judge Neil Rafferty KC said that this was a breach of trust case and as such he would need a pre-sentence report and an assessment of the damage done to the organisation.
Ms Bonner has been released on bail and will be sentenced on 13 November.
