Firefighters are tackling a house blaze in Devon which has spread to two neighbouring properties.

Eight appliances and an aerial platform have been sent to Rhine Villas in Totnes, Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said.

Crews were tackling the fire with breathing apparatus, three hose reel jets, a safety jet, thermal imaging cameras and gas monitors, the fire service added.

There were no reports of any casualties.

The fire service said crews have requested the attendance of a second water carrier.

Drivers have been warned there is no access to Rhine Villas from the A385.
