A man who stole from a doctor's surgery, university campus and McDonald's during a five-day burglary spree has been jailed.
Colin Mosdell targeted various addresses in Northampton between 21 and 25 March, and during one incident stole a blue Mazda 3 car.
The 39-year-old, previously from Northampton, was jailed for five years and 10 months at Northampton Crown Court after admitting 15 offences.
PC Christina Cooper from Northamptonshire Police said she hoped "this significant sentence" would reassure local businesses.
Mosdell admitted seven counts of burglary, five counts of fraud by false representation, theft of a motor vehicle, driving a vehicle without a licence and driving without insurance.
Northamptonshire Police said on one occasion he pressed the emergency button at McDonald's in St James Retail Park to gain access to the employee area where he stole a phone, car keys and a purse from the staff toilets.
Mosdell also stole an unattended bag from the university campus in the town centre and two rucksacks from the county cricket club in Abington.
The force said he also stole bank cards from a flat in Sheep Street and office in Wellingborough Road and used them fraudulently in nearby shops.
He stole car keys from a doctor's surgery in King Edward Road and the owner's car.
PC Cooper, from the force's burglary team, added: "We are passionate about making this country a safer place to live and work, and about taking burglars like Mosdell off our streets and putting them behind bars."
