Three murder arrests after death of man hit by car

Three men are being questioned on suspicion of murder following the death of a man who was hit by a car in Birmingham.

The struck man, in his twenties, was injured on Ormscliffe Road, Rednal, shortly before 17:10 BST on Monday, and died in hospital.

A 28-year-old was arrested shortly after the car hit the man and a house on the street, West Midlands Police said.

Following inquiries, another two men, also aged 28, were arrested, with all three in custody.

West Midlands Police said officers were supporting the dead man's family.

Anyone with information and footage that could help the investigation was urged to contact the force, as officers continued to work at the scene.
