Second murder charge after fatal stabbing

A second man has been charged with murder over the fatal stabbing of a 27-year-old.
Macaulay Branighan died in hospital on 15 October, three days after the attack in Westerton Green, Stockton.
Appearing at Teesside Magistrates' Court, Samuel Tweddle, 22, has been charged with murder and possession of a knife.
He was remanded in custody and will appear at Teesside Crown Court on Wednesday. Stephen Ward was charged with murder last week.
The 25-year-old appeared at Teesside Magistrates' Court on 17 October and was remanded in custody.
His case will be heard at the crown court on 14 November.
Two men, aged 21 and 24, have been released on conditional bail, police said.
