Cyclist in critical condition after hit-and-run

Police are appealing for information about the incident in Goldhay Way

A cyclist suffered life-threatening injuries in a hit-and-run.
Cambridgeshire Police said the 57-year-old man from Peterborough was "thrown into the air" after a collision with a blue BMW M4 .
It happened in Goldhay Way between Burswood and Kinnears Walk in the Orton area of the city at about 18:30 BST on Saturday.
"The driver failed to stop," said a police statement. The car was found in a nearby street. The force has appealed for dashcam and doorbell camera footage.
