Former sergeant accused of sharing indecent images

A former Thames Valley Police sergeant will be accused of accessing indecent images of children and extreme pornography at a hearing next week.
Gavin Kelly, who was previously based at Loddon Valley police station in Berkshire, is also accused of trying to procure sexual services from a sex worker.
Friday's hearing, which will be chaired by assistant chief constable Dennis Murray, will also hear allegations that he took a picture of a female colleague's cleavage and sent it to two other colleagues.
Mr Kelly will also be accused of taking seven photos of confidential information from police systems on his personal phone and distributing them for a "non-policing purpose".
The force will say that the indecent material was found on devices seized from Mr Kelly's home.
It said: "Evidence revealed that the officer had downloaded, accessed, viewed and/or distributed indecent images of children and extreme pornography."
It will say that his behaviour, if proven, amounted to gross misconduct and that he would have been dismissed had he not earlier left the force.
The hearing is due to take place at the force's headquarters in Kidlington, Oxfordshire, and last for one day.
