Boy, 17, arrested after officer hit by motorbike

A 17-year-old boy has been arrested after a Police Community Support Officer was hit by a motorbike.
Warwickshire Police said they were called to reports the officer had been involved in a collision, on Queens Road, in Nuneaton town centre.
The officer sustained injuries, which are not serious, and was treated by paramedics at the scene.
The force said the boy, who has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, remains in custody.
Det Insp Paul Sartoris said: “I would like to give thanks to the member of the public who assisted during this incident – your assistance is appreciated.”
