Man's body recovered from water near town

The body of a man was recovered from a water course in Spalding on Saturday morning, police said.

A member of the public discovered the man in water at Fulney Lane South at 09:00 GMT.

Police and Ambulance attended but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers said he had been identified as Przemyslaw Gebka, 42, and his next of kin had been made aware.

Mr Gebka was last seen on 28 October in the Spalding area and the force would like to hear from anyone who may have seen him in the last few weeks.

Lincolnshire police said investigations were ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding his death.
