A man and a teenage boy have been arrested after a woman was injured on a street in Worcester when, police said, a car was driven at her.
Police said the incident involving a blue Ford Fiesta happened on Canterbury Road at about 19:15 BST on Friday.
Injuries to the woman, who is in her 40s, are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
The arrested pair, aged 26 and 17, were detained on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm, said the West Mercia force, which appealed for witnesses as investigations continued.
"We are carrying out a number of inquiries," said Det Insp Edward Jones.
Anyone who was on Canterbury Road on Friday night, or may have seen a blue Ford Fiesta prior to the incident, is urged to get in touch with the force.
