Singer Teddy Swims is the latest act announced for Glasgow's outdoor Summer Sessions gigs in 2026.

The musician from Atlanta, Georgia, will play Bellahouston Park on 28 June, with the announcement coming days after American rock band My Chemical Romance were confirmed to play the same venue.

Swims earned a 2025 Grammy nomination for Best New Artist and three 2025 BET Award nominations for Best New Artist, Best Collaboration and Best Male R&B/Pop Artist.

This year's series of Summer Sessions were disrupted by transport problems, after an underground strike took place on the same days as shows by Sting, Stereophonics and Simple Minds.

Joined by his band Freak Feely, Swims will be supported by breakout vocalist and songwriter Lauren Spencer Smith and New Zealand-Australian singer and multi-instrumentalist Jordan Rakei.

The 33-year-old came to fame in 2023 with multi-platinum hits Lose Control - nominated for Best International Song at this year's BRIT awards - and The Door. both coming from his debut album I've Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 1).

He followed his debut album with this year's Part 2, with the single Bad Dreams cracking the top 10 in the UK charts.

The soulful singer - real name Jaten Dimsdale - played Glasgow's OVO Hydro earlier in 2025.
