A man has been injured after the van he was driving exploded when it hit the ceiling of an underground car park in south-west London, the Metropolitan Police has said.
The force was called to reports of an explosion at a shopping centre on Queen's Road, Wimbledon at 10:10 GMT on Monday. The London Ambulance Service and London Fire Brigade (LFB) were also called to the scene.
The van driver, a man in his 60s, was treated at the scene for burns and taken to hospital, the emergency services said.
The incident, which is ongoing, is not believed to be terror-related, the Met said, adding that "the contents of a van had exploded after the vehicle is believed to have struck the roof of a car park".
The LFB said about 100 people had been evacuated from the shopping centre, and two fire engines were at the scene.
