Wellness cafe set up after triple murder probe

A wellbeing support cafe has been set up at a block of serviced apartments to help people who have been impacted by a triple murder investigation in the town.

Unity House on Arrow Close in Luton is due to be open daily 09:00 to 17:00 BST until Friday for the public.

Luton Police officers are expected to visit the space throughout the week to "offer reassurance and support to the community", said a spokesperson for the force.

Nicholas Prosper, 18, of Leabank, has been charged with the murder of his mother and siblings at a block of flats in the Marsh Farm area of the town.

Mr Prosper has been remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear for a plea and trial preparation hearing at Luton Crown Court on 5 December.

The bodies of Juliana Prosper, 48, Giselle Prosper, 13, and Kyle Prosper, 16, were found at a flat off Wauluds Bank Drive, in Leabank on Friday.

A donation page has been set up to raise money for their funeral and to further support the remaining family members.
