Two charged with attempted murder over stabbing

Two men have been charged with attempted murder after a man was injured in a street stabbing.
Officers were called to Stoney Stanton Road in Coventry at about 16:00 GMT on 5 January.
The stabbed man was taken to hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening, West Midlands Police said.
The accused pair, aged 21 and 18, have also been charged with possession of a bladed article.
They appeared before Coventry Magistrates' Court on Saturday and were remanded in custody.
