Players from the men's and women's Sussex County Cricket Club teams enjoyed an open top bus tour around Brighton and Hove after a double-header of wins over Gloucestershire.
The victories came in the first of two consecutive weeks that the women and men will play back-to-back fixtures.
Women's captain Chiara Green said: "It's good for everybody that we have a shared ground, and I hope now there's more interlinking with the two squads."
Sussex Women were one of many sides who missed out on turning professional under the England and Wales Cricket Board's restructure.
But Ms Green said there were still positive feelings around the club.
"All our girls are in education or slightly different. We do get less time together, but the hope is we grow to full time in the future," she said.
'Together more'
For men's team batsman Harrison Ward, he has been in full time professional cricket since arriving at Sussex at the age of 18.
"I've loved my time here. A lot of us live around the ground and have beach barbecues, dinner clubs," he said.
And a lot of us grew up playing together when we were younger," he said.
Ms Green said she hoped there would be joint team socials after further double header fixtures.
"We'd like to be together more," she added.
The men and women's teams will face Glamorgan on Sunday in another double-header.
