Police are looking to speak to a man as part of a murder investigation in Birmingham.

A man in his 40s was found with knife injuries at a house on Alum Rock Road at about 07:00 BST on Friday.

Despite attempts to save the victim, he was declared dead at the scene, West Midlands Police said.

The force has since confirmed officers were looking to speak to 24-year-old Asad Khan in connection with the death.

Police have released an image of Mr Khan, but a spokesperson said he is now believed to have a shaved head.

Det Insp Nick Barnes said anyone who has any information on his whereabouts should get in touch.

"If you see him or know where he is, you must not approach him, but get in touch with us immediately," he added.
