Motorway reopens after van fire

A stretch of the M1 in Leicestershire has reopened after a van fire.

National Highways East Midlands said the closure on Monday morning had affected the northbound carriageway between junction 22 at Leicester and junction 23 at Loughborough.

Diversions were put in place put in place while crews tackled the fire.

The road has reopened shortly after 10:00 GMT.
