The Northern Lights have put on colourful displays in the night sky across Devon and Cornwall.
Spectacular images were taken by BBC Weather Watchers across both counties on Wednesday as the lights, also known as Aurora Borealis, appeared between 22:00 and 23:00 BST.
The lights, which had a pink-purple hue, were spotted over parts of the north Devon coastline including Croyde and Woolacombe.
People also spotted the lights over St Ervan, Zennor and Stithians.
It was second night in a row the Aurora Borealis appeared in the UK's skies with solar activity reported on Tuesday in Scotland.
Lancaster University's Aurora Watch UK, external website had put out a "red alert" for activity across the country on Wednesday night.
