Island vehicle ferry sailings disrupted

Passengers sailing to, or from, Southampton and Cowes on the vehicle ferry are warned of disruption

Passengers set to sail on a car ferry to and from the Isle of Wight are facing delays and cancellations.
Red Funnel said the "technical issue" meant sailings between Southampton and East Cowes on the Isle of Wight were disrupted.
Foot passengers are being advised to travel on the Southampton-West Cowes high-speed service which is unaffected.
Passengers planning to travel on Monday are advised to check Red Funnel's timetable, external.
On Saturday, passengers also faced disruption after vehicle ferry Red Eagle broke down, having just returned to service.
A number of sailings were cancelled during the morning, with the ferry firm apologising for inconvenience to passengers.
The Red Jet passenger-only crossing takes 28 minutes, the vehicle ferry about an hour.
