A woman will appear in court in connection with the death of an 89-year-old woman in a car crash.

Sheila Lewis, 72, is accused of causing death by careless driving after her passenger was killed in a collision with another vehicle in Lincolnshire.

Lincolnshire Police said the court summons followed an investigation into the incident on the A17 near Heckington in August 2024.

Ms Lewis, of Magna Crescent, Sleaford, is due to appear at Lincoln Magistrates' Court on 27 November.
