A man in his 60s died after a fatal crash on the A14 in Northamptonshire

A man has died following a single-vehicle crash on a dual carriageway, police said.

A blue and white Scania HGV collided with the central reservation between junction 10 and junction 11, near Burton Latimer on the A14 in Northamptonshire, at about 04:50 GMT on Thursday.

The 60-year-old driver was pronounced dead at the scene and the road was closed but it has since reopened.

Officers have appealed for witnesses or anyone with any relevant dashcam footage.
