A motorcyclist suffered what have been described by police as "life-changing" injuries in a three-vehicle collision in North Yorkshire.
The crash, which involved a BMW S1000RR motorcycle and two cars, happened on Copley Lane in Sherburn-in-Elmet just after 13:15 GMT on Sunday, police said.
The motorbike rider, a man in his 60s from West Yorkshire, was airlifted to hospital for treatment and remained in a "serious" condition, according to officers.
The drivers of a white Ford Fiesta and blue Skoda Kamiq, who were both men in their 30s, were helping police with their inquiries, a force spokesperson said.
The road remained closed for several hours to allow officers to carry out their investigation, they added.
Anyone who witnessed the collision was asked to get in touch with NorthYorkshire Police.
