Police catch delivery rider on major motorway

A delivery driver has been caught riding on a major motorway.

Thames Valley Police said the rider was on an electric motorcycle, which could reach speeds of approximately 24mph, on the M4 near Maidenhead, Berkshire.

Riders of motorcycles under 50cc are not allowed on motorways.

The force said he was escorted off the motorway and "sent on his way".
