A litter picker has filled her 750th bag of rubbish after taking up the past time more than five years ago.
Kim Saer from Wellington, near Hereford, began litter picking after the first Covid-19 lockdown and has concentrated her efforts along the A49.
The items found during her trips include sex toys and a "Christmas gift bag filled with diarrhoea" - which she admits she "shouldn't have looked inside".
Asked why she started litter picking, Ms Saer said: "I hate to see the countryside and the streets in such a mess and as I've retired, I have the time to do something about it."
Rather than getting angry about litter the retiree has said she is now "hopefully" on her way to 1,000 bags of rubbish and last month alone she filled 36.
She said: "I get disappointed, especially when you've spent a lot of time and effort cleaning somewhere and you drive by it the next day and there's stuff there again.
"It is disappointing but it's not worth getting angry over."
Ms Saer described the A49 as "lovely" explaining that when the traffic disappears the rumble of cars is replaced with birdsong.
"I always pick on my own, I don't need company. I like my own company."
