A man in his 20s has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a reported stabbing.

Norfolk Police said it was called to Brazen Gate, Norwich, at about 16:45 GMT on Wednesday.

A man in his late teens was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and threats with a bladed article. He remains in custody.

Police said the suspect and the victim were believed to be known to each other.
