A motorway is partially closed as work continues to clear a fuel spill from an overturned lorry.

From 06:00 BST three northbound lanes of the M1 were closed between junction 10 for London Luton Airport and junction 11 for Dunstable, Bedfordshire.

National Highways reported a 350-litre (77-gallon) diesel spillage on the road, adding it will require specialist recovery teams before the road can be reopened.

It warned the lanes could be closed for the rest of the day and advised drivers to seek other routes.
