Rally featuring microcars tours Isle of Man
- Published
Micro cars designed and manufactured in the Isle of Man in the 1960s are being celebrated in series of special events.
This year marks the 60th anniversary of the firm behind the world's smallest car being officially registered as Peel Engineering Limited.
A host of rare P50s along with Trident and Viking vehicles began a tour of the island on Friday, travelling to Jurby and Ramsey.
Other stops on the tour include Douglas Promenade on Saturday and a trip to the west to lead the annual Peel Carnival on Sunday.
Grant Cairney, who has travelled from Scotland with two Peel cars, said it was a privilege to bring them back to the island where “people remember and appreciate” them.
