Woman installs crossing signs for daily pig walks

An animal lover has put up crossing signs on a trail in Nottinghamshire where she walks her five pet pigs.
Rosie Stubbs has left the signs, near North Road in Bilsthorpe, to make dog walkers and cyclists aware.
The 31-year-old walks her pigs - Pumpkin, Tiny Tim, Polly Pocket, Trousers and Polkadot - along the trail daily, sometimes twice a day.
She said people thought the pig crossing signs were "comical" and were something they had "never seen before".
She added: "The trail is seconds away from my garden but there is a small hill so I wanted to put a sign up to make people aware.
"It's nice for them to get out and about, it is good for the pigs to have a stretch."
Ms Stubbs has worked with pigs for nearly 10 years and said she felt a "connection" to them.
She runs an animal sanctuary and rescue centre, which is home to her five pigs, 50 ferrets, two cocker spaniels and a Welsh cob pony.
Owners of pet pigs must follow the same regulations as pig farmers and have a walking licence to exercise their pigs.
