Motorcyclist seriously injured in motorhome crash

A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a collision involving a motorcycle and a motorhome in Cornwall.

Devon and Cornwall Police said the force attended the incident at about 12:20 BST on Sunday near Camborne at Tram Road, Cambrose, Porthtowan.

The rider of the motorcycle, a local man in his 70s, was airlifted to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth, police said.

It was the second crash near the A30 in Cornwall on Sunday. The other incident involved another motorcyclist being taken to hospital after a collision that involved a tractor.

Officers thanked the public for their patience while the road was closed during investigation work.
