A soup kitchen in Jersey's Royal Square raised £20,000 for a charity that helps homeless people.

Hotels, restaurants and schools made a total of 37 soups for people to buy.

The money from the event on Tuesday went to the Shelter Trust.

Organiser Richard Robins said it was a "great result" for the event's 25th anniversary.
