A driver has been injured after crashing into a shop building in Camborne, police have said.

Officers were called at 11:30 BST to Trelowarren Street, Camborne, following a report of "a car in collision with a building", said Devon and Cornwall Police.

"The driver has been checked by ambulance crews at the scene and is believed to have sustained minor injuries," said a spokesperson.

The road was temporarily closed to allow a structural engineer to assess the safety of the building.
