Man jailed for string of child sex offences

A man has been jailed for 13 years after pleading guilty to multiple child sex offences.
David Marsh, 70, of Conisbrough, South Yorkshire, was sentenced at Lincoln Crown Court on Friday.
Marsh's offending included sexual assault of a child by touching, attempted rape of a child, assault by penetration and inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.
The offending took place between July 2016 and July 2019 in Skegness, Lincolnshire Police said.
Marsh was also made the subject of an indefinite sexual harm prevention order.
Speaking at the conclusion of the case, Acting Det Sgt David Ziller said: "The victim showed great courage in speaking out and hopefully this conclusion goes some way to provide the justice they deserve."
He praised those who had been involved in the investigation and urged any potential victims of abuse to come forward.
