Sea Life names penguin after Tom Daley

Sea Life London Aquarium has paid tribute to Olympic champion diver Tom Daley by naming its newest penguin after him.
Daley the penguin will have its wings decorated with a gold band as a symbolic celebration of Daley's medal-winning achievements, the attraction said.
Sea Life's general manager, Catherine Pritchard, said: "From the podium to Penguin Point, we're thrilled to honour Tom Daley's incredible achievements with our newest resident, Daley the penguin."
The gesture also includes an invitation for Daley to meet his feathered namesake.
The tourist attraction, located on the South Bank near the London Eye, has presented Daley the penguin with a knitted penguin toy, inspired by the diver's pandemic hobby of knitting.
Sea Life is also aiming to raise awareness about wildlife conservation by using gentoo penguins as "ambassadors" for the Antarctic Peninsula species that it says are threatened by climate change and human activity.
Sea Life, which has about 40 centres across the world, cares for more than 160,000 animals, supporting ethical sourcing, scientific research and conservation initiatives.
